Used by pilgrims for over 600 years, a simple chapel provides a place of shelter and refuge. A place to reflect on the journey taken and still ahead. Light and shadow are the saints of this place, patiently waiting to be seen and adored. Take a moment to reflect, contemplate, or simply be.

The landscape of the cemetery provides a sacred place where imagination of what death means is expressed through the manipulation of time and light. The forest with its constant flux of color and light provides a unique environment in which to create an abstracted reality perceptual shift. My favorite thing to do on a Sunday morning is to walk through a deserted construction site. This is when I can take an undisturbed look into the relationship between the physical materials and human touch. I’m interested in finding the unfinished façade, the one that seems to have been overshadowed by the larger details. These become my obsession. My abstract landscapes.
